About Idaho Resorts
IdahoResorts.com is an independent guide to the resorts of Idaho — the ski mountains, lakefront lodges, family cabin resorts, marinas, luxury golf clubs, and wilderness basecamps that make the state a year-round destination. Our goal is simple: to help travelers understand what each resort actually offers, in which seasons, and for whom, without the marketing gloss.
For every resort, we cover the essentials that matter when you are planning a trip: the setting and nearest town, what there is to do in winter and in summer, where to stay, where to eat, how to get there, and the history and signature features that set the place apart. Where a resort is best known for one thing — Coeur d'Alene's floating golf green, Silver Mountain's town-to-summit gondola, Mountain Village's private hot spring — we explain how it works and why it matters.
Idaho is often overlooked in favor of its better-marketed neighbors, and that is precisely its appeal: big terrain, deep snow, clear lakes, and genuine wilderness, usually with fewer crowds and lower prices than Colorado, Utah, or Wyoming. We built this guide to make that variety easy to navigate.
IdahoResorts.com is not affiliated with any of the resorts listed. Details change from season to season, so we always recommend confirming current rates, hours, dates, and conditions with each resort directly before you travel.
